Cause

Help Drive Away Domestic Violence by supporting women and children in the Comox Valley, Campbell River and North Island who are fleeing domestic violence. Last year combined the two transition houses provided refuge and safety to 193 women and 66 children. Emerging data and reports from those on the front lines, indicate that the incidence and severity of domestic violence increased substantially after the pandemic began. At the same time services were reduced to minimize the spread of COVID- 19 putting more strain on programs and services that were already at capacity. We need your help to assist women and their children leaving a life of violence and fear and begin a future of safety and hope.
